Tajikistan’s president and Dushanbe’s mayor opened a new ornamental tree garden in the city
The head of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, and the head of the city of Dushanbe, Rustam Emomali, took part in the creation of a new garden in the capital and launched a campaign to plant ornamental and evergreen trees, start the spring season, and take additional measures to improve the environment. During the visit, they planted magnolia and sequoia seedlings. This was reported to Sng.today in the press service of the Tajik leader.
It was noted that the area of the new metropolitan garden is 10 hectares, and the number of seedlings that were brought from Europe to create it is over 11,000 pieces.
In order to establish work in the garden in accordance with world standards, industry equipment was imported from European countries, with the use of which Tajik specialists at a high level carry out work on uprooting and transporting trees from one place to another.
Having familiarized himself in detail with the progress of growing seedlings and visiting the Paivand LLC store, which sells decorative flowers and shrubs, the President talked to gardeners and told them about the measures taken in the state for the effective implementation of the Program for the Development of Horticulture and Viticulture, the development of agriculture, the creation of new orchards and reconstruction of old ones, increasing the volume of fruit exports abroad, as well as creating permanent jobs.
