Dushanbe hosts Czech L 410 NG planes


The Czech company Let Aircraft Industries, together with Somon Air, held a presentation of the L 410 NG aircraft at Dushanbe International Airport today. 

The presentation was held by Michal Jagrik, Deputy Commercial Director of Omnipon for Central Asia.

According to him, this is an upgraded turboprop regional aircraft that offers improved parameters and performance. This is the best model in its class, with a flight range of 2,570 km, a flight duration of 10.5 hours and a payload of 2,300 kg. Standard passenger version – 19 passengers. 

Soomn Air is currently considering various options for expanding its fleet for domestic and regional flights, including L410 aircraft.

Earlier, the delegation of Somon Air visited the LET Aircraft Industries plant, where they got acquainted with the production process and discussed the training of technical and summer personnel of the airline, as well as issues of financing and possible acquisition of aircraft. 

Michal Jagrik also told reporters that negotiations are underway with Somon Air on further cooperation. 

According to him, the cost of aircraft of this model starts from 8.5 million euros. If the order exceeds 10 aircraft, then the cost will decrease accordingly, and issues of providing aircraft on leasing will also be discussed.
