Dushanbe debated Tajikistan’s cultural and historical legacy
The issues of strengthening the mechanisms for protecting the cultural and historical heritage of Tajikistan were discussed in Dushanbe.
According to the Department of Information of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, a seminar was held in Dushanbe on the topic “Capacity Building for Heritage Protection Specialists”.
The event was organized by the National Commission of Tajikistan for UNESCO in cooperation with the World Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO).
The purpose of the event was to strengthen the mechanisms for the protection of the cultural and historical heritage of the country, as well as to promote their inclusion in the World Heritage Lists. The event helped to deepen the understanding and knowledge of the participants about the mechanisms provided for in the relevant international conventions.
The event was attended by cultural heritage experts from different parts of the country, who were awarded certificates at the end of the seminar.
