What’s on the Menu: The Grille at Sand Hollow Resort
ST. GEORGE — This week’s episode of “What’s on the Menu” is all about food, family and golf. Host Sheldon Demke invited his brother, Tom, to join him at one of the most scenic restaurants in the area, The Grille at Sand Hollow Resort.
The Grille was serving their delicious Sunday brunch menu, so the Demke boys dug right in. First up was the Crab Benny, two perfectly poached eggs and piping hot crab cakes on a bed of arugula.
Next came the Montecristo, and The Grille prepares this classic a little differently. They build the sandwich, then slather it in beer batter and dunk it in the deep fryer before serving it with fries and salsa.
“That thing was absolutely delicious,” Tom Demke said. “It’s not like any other sandwich I’ve ever had.”
Then it was time for drinks, and the brothers went straight for a pair of spicy Bloody Marys. If you want to start your morning off right, you can play 9 holes – or just enjoy one of these!
“Sand Hollow Resort is championship golf, and The Grille here is championship food,” Sheldon Demke said. “I’m telling you, it was so good.”
Located in the building that Architectural Digest named “The Most Beautiful Clubhouse in Utah” and boasting spectacular vistas in all directions, The Grille is a full-service restaurant that serves traditional and contemporary cuisine for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Enjoy outdoor dining all year long on the wraparound deck with views of Zion National Park.
The Grille offers approachable appetizers and a full wine, beer and cocktail menu. Quick service is available for the golfer on the go, and delivery is available for resort guests and residents. Catering is also an option for banquets, weddings, events and large parties at the resort.
